RELIGION: DID JESUS REALLY EXIST?

Now before you guys start making death threats against me, I am in no way suggesting that he either did or did not exist. I just wanted to point out an article on the CNN website: DID JESUS REALLY EXIST? Apparently a villager is suing the church for suggesting that they have been fraudulently misleading people into believeing into the existence of Jesus. I though it was a rather thought provoking assertion; from a legal standpoint. I have provided the link below. Please feel free to comment.

It is hard for many to grasp if Jesus relly existed because it is based on facts that can not be tested or where there is no scientific evidence. Therefore one must have belief of religion in order to actually believe that Jesus did exist. For me I do belive that he did but like I said it is based more on my faith and up bringing then on actually scientific evidence.
